BSNL is now offering two months extra validity on its yearly prepaid plan of Rs.1699/-. Before this plan offered benefits for 365 days but now the benefits extended to 425 days. However, subscribers can enjoy this extra facility only if they recharge their number before November 30, 2019.
The good news is that subscribers will get an extra 1 GB in November and December as an additional benefit.
The Marutham plan was previously valid up to October 23rd. now, this is extended by 90 days, which means, it is now available till January 21, 2020. There is also an additional benefit of 5 GB which can be availed in this entire 345 days of validity.
The most unique step of BSNL is that it has announced credit of 6 paise for every five minutes of voice call by its subscribers.

This benefit of BSNL’s is just the opposite of Jio’s. They are charging their user 6 paise per minute for an outgoing call from Jio to any other network.
For the people of Mumbai and Delhi, BSNL has announced free calls to its MTNL users. MTNL is the telco operating in Delhi and Mumbai circles, owned by the respective states. The three plans of MTNL are Rs.429/-, Rs. 485/- and Rs. 665/-.

Meanwhile to meet the customer’s expectation BSNL will enable 4G services since as a telecom carrier it had not provided any high-speed data service. Although 70,000 employees have opted for a voluntary retirement scheme (VRS), yet as a revival strategy BSNL is expected to launch 4G services within 6 months by spending almost Rs. 12,000 crore on a next-generation network. The BSNL will be upgrading the existing equipment and locations will be selected for the service available as soon as possible. The telco has to undergo a tendering process.
BSNL revival strategies will help it to overcome the cash crunch and meet the expenses within the next 2 to 3 months. The government is giving BSNL a helping hand to overcome the existing challenges. Up to now, 14 high-value land parcels have been identified, worth Rs.8,000 crore which will be monetized by phased approach.
