Hathway Broadband Review Bangalore

There are numerous options available to choose from in Bangalore, when it comes to choosing the proper internet service provider in Bangalore. It is from wireless dongle to wired broadband. Even in between these also one will find different other service provider names that are Hath way or Airtel or YOU Broadband or ACT Broadband or we may say Tikona. Broadband services are distributed area wise in Bangalore. Not all service providers provide the internet in every part of Bangalore. If on one area Airtel Broadband is running then on the other area You Broadband or we may say ACT or Tikona is running. So after seeing all other chart rates and all, we noticed that the tariff rate of Hathway is the most reasonable one.

But finding the proper internet provider is not an easy job. Especially, when you are in a city like Bangalore, though the choice of a mobile service provider was easy but one will thus find it difficult when it comes to choosing a proper internet service provider.

Pathetic Poor Connection And Service Provider

It provides with the most pathetic connection. For almost 8-10 hours in a day, there is no internet connection and when someone calls the service provider then one comes to receive the same answer that is they will call the respective customer within 24 hours and will thus fix the connection. It is therefore completely pathetic and cringe-worthy the way the service providers deal with their customers. The company thus makes fake promises that they will fix the internet issue by today but ultimately the results do not show up as there is absolutely no coordination between their customer care even neither do they know which customer to call.

Another major issue with this is its connectivity and speed because sometimes one has to face unannounced and unceremoniously blackouts for a couple of minutes. Sudden blackouts sometimes can, therefore, cause stress and sometimes leads to some amount of frustration. Though it is sometimes an isolated issue, it is sometimes very much frustrating to deal with. Hathway is, therefore, can be explained as one of the worst when it comes to customer services. Because if they say that they need to raise a ticket, then slowly one would lose all their hope. And if accidentally they say that our technician will reach you in 24 hours then that means that no one will ever contact you in that case.

Is Hathway Provides Good Broadband Connection?

Hathway is actually a service provider which is present out there just to fool around with people by giving OFFERS. At first everyone will, therefore, find it crazy, cheap and best price internet service in their locations but lately, they will thus come to realize that they have to be undoubtedly active to report once in a week to the service providers for the poor broadband connections they are offering. Hathway is good for some locations but in most of the cases, Hathway broadband let one down with its bad connection services and bad customer care services.

Poor Facility Of The Hathway Networks Operators

Hathway therefore provides with the poorest internet connection service. Even it takes 3 days just for the activation process. It is therefore one of the most worst broadband connection and has the worst customer care services. Even after complaining many times, the Hathway service providers are not answering their complaints. Here, the Hathway cables are mostly overhead as the chance of cable getting cut is almost very much possible in case of Hathway.

Apart from these things, Hathway was good and even cheap. Even the Hathway Broadband services recently have launched some new plans for the home users in Bangalore where they have promised to give internet speed of 40-80Mbps. So, it is very much important to take a provider with better services. This is just because things will thus go down and one will face various issues and at that time one will feel like crunching their head into the ground. So it is better to choose the right ISP provider rather choosing the Hathway Broadband services. But one of the most important tip is that do not get fooled by Hathways full speed claims, uptime claims and attractive unlimited plans.

  • Recently I moved to a new area in Bangalore and one of my friends told me that Hathway broadband connection has good plans. when I called for a new connection to the customer care they told I have to provide all the information and they will call back in 3 hours. I provided the info and waited for the entire day but I didn't get any callback. and I started calling them every day and they told me the same thing and didn't receive a single call back from them even after 5 days. They are not at all interested in giving plan information or new connection. I am just thinking if this is the case for giving connection then what will they do for service?

  • worst broad band . don't waste your money by taking hath way, very poor service, if u call customer care we should in line for more than 15 min. it will show the speed in fast.com, where as you cannot find that speed while surfing/ browsing, and hath way guys, if you don't want to provide a better network and customer service,and couldn't respond when there is a issue , its better you shut down your company. you will make people pay lumpson amount and don't give better speed and network.

  • I talked with one of your customer care executive to relocate my hathway device. He agree to relocate the device. After this only I paid 485 rs. After paying the amount, I got a call asking location details that I had to relocate, I shared the location. After sharing the location, He is telling that the area is not feasible to relocate. So, I asked refund of my paid amount 485 rs. the refund not yet happening. They are not refunding the back. They are cheating the people. Also poor service they are providing. They are cheaters

  • The worst broadband connection, govt should close this kind of irresponsible connection. We paid, that guy still dint turn up to give connection. Now they r not ready pick calls as well, not ready to refund, whom to complain to shut down this company?

  • Worst network of all..

    I wanted a new connection and contacted them. They have asked for 6 month's payment in advance and promised to give me connection in 5 days, but never shown up after that. When contacted for a few times agreed to provide the same day later ignored calls from my number.
    When called from another number, arguing to take refund and hung up on face.

    Really I suggest not to take such shitty organised network.

  • Worst service provider. My wifi was not working for the last 4 days and I complained but they did not resolve. Every day they told that it would be resolved by tomorrow, but they did not resolve the issue. Don't waste money on Hathway Broadband.

  • Dear Team,

    Few of the concerns, I would like to bring in your notice that your Sales Team is very good in follow up (they remind about 20 to 30 times in a day through messages or calls) but when I come to the service part people don’t turn up with resolution or don’t take the things seriously.

    I have been complaining about network problems from last couple of months, but every time your call center people reset the settings from their end and make the things workable for couple of minutes/hours.

    Instead of repeated complaints and visits of one of your Technician (Mr. Anup) I was told that he has requested team to change the wiring for permanent solution but no one is ready to accept and problem is still persisting.

    Please find below complaints which I have been facing:

    It gets disconnect automatically.
    Speed is not good.
    All the LED shows stable in modem but internet doesn’t work.
    Sometimes work after restart but sometimes doesn’t.
    Call Center people also don’t help properly.
    Irritating Sales team (20-30 times calls or messages in a day for renewal)
    No service or feedback call for complaints.
    It is my humble request to intervene in this matter for permanent resolution else let me know they process to discontinue with the same.

    Hopping positive response else I will be force to complaint in consumer form for such harassment.

    Next to impossible to get to the customer care.
    They promise you heaven.
    once they take the money for connection. No one ever responds.
    No updates. Total blackout.
    you are sure to experience Hell.

  • Worst experience. They promise 1000GB but they provide only 300 or 200 GB.

  • Terrible Service. Once you become a Subscriber, you will beg for Service.
    Unfortunately I paid one years subscription and now am stuck.

    Their Sales Team will promise you the moon till you give cheque.

    I have paid for one year and Service commenced in March 2020. In last 4 months, there has been no wifi for 36 days. I lodge online complaint and they show rectified but nothing is done.

    Does any one know how to get refund?

    Customer Care is non existent and the Numbers given are never available. Since it is recorded message, it will give you headache.

    Please consider 10 times before you go for Hathway Broadband .

  • Firstly on my expiry date their customer person called me and i asked for an offer then he said that Renew for Rs 1689/- and we will give you 3 + 1 month offer and he sent me the payment initiated message for Rs 1689/- and i paid as per instruction . Then i got a message that dear customer , we have received payment of Rs 1689. your account required 1766.46 payment for renewal . Then I complained to the customer again and sent him all the proof screenshots of the calls and messages . and again the second customer care person said sir that is not the amount for 3+ 1 offer, pay Rs 1766.46 pay the difference amount i will activate you 3 + 1 offer
    Again I paid the difference amount as he said .. Now after 2 days they have renewed only for 3 months.
    And i’m trying to call customer care they are not answering my call , and online complaint also im unable to make

    They cheat customers to pay and wrongly guide them, pathetic service
