  • If any other plug-ins like DFX, SSMS, etc are found, then just remove or disable them.

Method 3: Edit the Windows Registry

  • Start the Regedit to open the window for the Registry Editor.
  • Click on: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\NodeCLSIDs\{95037DA1-6ED9-4B27-8CFF-9AD3DFB0B2F2}.
  • Edit the AutoInsert value from 1-0.

Note: It is recommended to create a backup of the registry because the changes made are irreversible if a backup does not exist.

  • To resolve the problem, it is recommended to update the drivers on the device, as errors would occur if the drivers are not updated.
  • A tool called Driver Finder can be used to update all the drivers on the device.

  • Press b and then click on the Control Panel.
