Microsoft has time and again boosted its cross-platform gaming but presently it has taken a decision to remove Minecraft from Apple TV. Users who have already bought the game from Apple TV will be able to play the game but from now onwards they would not be getting any updates or cross-play support. There is news that on the date of the official announcement of this news, there is even a scheme of refunding. Refunding will be done to the buyers who have bought the game 90 days prior to the official announcement.
This news clearly indicated that there is only a fraction of people who are playing Minecraft on Apple TV. This means the majority of people playing Minecraft from Microsoft are from somewhere else. Microsoft has clearly signaled that it will not hesitate to cease the support of Minecraft from other platforms as well if it feels that any platform is unfit or not bringing the demanded results.

Along with this news, there is also a proposal or a type of announcement by Minecraft developer Mojang that there could be a new action-adventure game that is inspired by popular game called dungeon crawlers. The game which will likely to go on-board will be called as Minecraft Dungeons and would be specially designed to be played on PC. It could be played solo or with 4 players.
In contemporary times, this game is being described as one of the ‘passionate projects’ of Mojang. According to the reports, the game is being developed at Mojang’s Swedish headquarters with a small team. A lot of inspiration has been taken from the original game but the weaponaries have been elevated to kill the ruthless mob (which is a top part of the game).
