HMD Global, who takes care of Nokia, has arranged an event in Dubai and launched Nokia 8.1 mobile globally. The company will also hold an event on 10th of December in New Delhi, India to launch the mobile.
Mobile Design
The mobile has a glass design inside a metal frame. The thickness of the mobile is 7.0mm, width is 75.7mm and height is 154.8mm. The mobile weighs 180 grams and will be available in blue, silver, iron, and gold colors.
Display Size & Features
The display has Nokia brand at the bottom while the fingerprint scanner is below the camera at the back. The mobile has a 6.18-inch display with HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2246 pixels. The aspect ratio of the display is 18.7:9. The touchscreen display has multi-touch feature. The pixel density of the display is 403 PPI and the screen is protected by Corning gorilla glass v3.
Market Price
In Europe, the mobile is priced at 399 Euros, which equals Rs. 32,000 in India. The price of the mobile in UAE is 1,499 Dirham which is equal to Rs. 29,000 in India. The expected price of the mobile in India is Rs. 30,000.
Processor, OS, And Storage
The mobile gives its performance due to the presence of Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor and Adreno 616 GPU. The RAM in the mobile is of 4GB and the storage capacity of the mobile is 64GB. The memory can be expanded up to 400GB.The operating system of the mobile is the latest Android 9.0 Pie.

The mobile has a dual lens camera of 12 MP and a secondary camera of 13 MP. The selfie or the front camera is of 20 MP. The camera has an AI capability and Dual Sight mode with the help of which users can stream live videos on social media. The image resolution of the camera is 4,000 x 3,000 pixels. The camera has Exmor-RS CMOS sensor. Other features of the camera include autofocus and optical image stabilization. The camera has LED flash and F2.0 aperture.
Battery Quality
The mobile has a Li-ion 3,500 mAh battery which when fully charged can be used for two days. Another feature of the battery is that it can be charged with good pace.
