Balance Transfer Terms And Condition
While for a postpaid to prepaid balance transfer one can send a maximum of Rs 30 and a minimum of Rs 5 with a service charge of Rs 3 levied on the person sending the balance. One important thing to keep in mind is that a single recipient can receive up to three transactions maximum in a day. Nevertheless, one cannot send or receive more than a sum of Rs 1000 to/from a single postpaid line in a month. The one sending the balance should be a user of the network of at least 5 months. Accordingly, the one at the receiving end should also be a legit user of the network for 30 days at least.
The motive behind this is to benefit the post-paid customers of the company who have friends, family members, office staff or even domestic staff who are using the same prepaid connections under Vodafone who are in desperate requirement for balance. With a mere service charge on each transaction, this can come handy. Chief Commercial Officer of Vodafone India believes that this will address the untapped need within consumer groups, making the company more fit for addressing customer’s needs and wants. This is in an initiative to follow multiple schemes like “call me back”, “prepaid to prepaid balance transfer” and “chotta credit” services from the country’s second-best mobile operator.
