Free download the Windows partition manager for Windows 11
Do you relate to the problems you just mentioned? If you are also trying to solve these problems, then you should not miss this part, because it can help you solve the urgent problem.
AOMEI Partition Assistant Standard is a free partition software, which is available for Windows 11, 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP. It is different from Windows Disk Management, Diskpart, Command Prompt, etc. It completely gets rid of the limitations of Windows built-in tools, and can easily solve problems such as convert to GPT disk without deleting, format volume greyed out, Windows extend volume greyed out, etc.
When I first came across it, I was still sceptical. But when I downloaded it and tried it, I changed my mind. First of all, the download process is safe and does not carry any bundled software. And after opening it, you can see that the interface of the software is very simple and there are no redundant advertisements. Second, it’s comprehensive and should satisfy most users’ needs. You can understand it as an all-in-one tool, which has many embedded functions, for example, PC cleaner, merge partition, resize partition, format partition, clone partition, convert MBR to GPT, convert basic disk to dynamic, etc.
But the disadvantage of it is that not all features are free to use, some of them are limited. For example, you can only clone data disks in the free version, if you want to clone system disks, you need to upgrade to Professional Edition, and the same is true for App Mover, Allocate Free Space, Migrate OS to SSD, etc. If you are running Windows Server, you need to switch to Server Edition. If you are running Windows Server, you need to switch to Server Edition, and if you need to create a portable version, you need to switch to Unlimited Edition.
