One of the biggest messenger giant WhatsApp has made a big announcement for their user’s “Group calls for voice and video are live for there users ” now people can make video and audio calls in groups. According to WhatsApp research data “Users spend over 2 billion minutes on calls per day”
WhatsApp Group Calling Features:
- You can make a group call with up to four people total
- Group calls are always end to end encrypted.
- This Feature is currently first rolled out on iPhones and then Android.
- Work under slow network conditions also
WhatsApp first supported video call feature in 2016 but that was restricted to only two participants only now people can enjoy video calling in a group of 4 people.
Process to Set-Up WhatsApp group call:
- ‘Add participant’ option present at the top right corner during the on-going-call
- Then select the contact that you want to add in the call
- Add the selected participant to that video call.
Still, if you are not able to make video or voice call in group (Update the latest version of WhatsApp app via Google Play Store and Apple App Store.)
